Dr. Lu received his undergraduate degree from UC Davis with highest honors in Microbiology with a minor in Music, and then pursued his medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Lu has worked in both private practice and academic settings before embarking on a solo practice. At Children's Hospital in Oakland, he was teaching attending in the Urgent Care Clinic, Resident Continuity Clinic, and Southeast Asian Clinic, and later served as a clinical instructor for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Besides English, he is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, and he also speaks medical Spanish. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, swimming, jogging, farming and traveling.
Laura Breckenridge is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, who specializes in Pediatric Primary Care. Laura completed her undergraduate degree at UC Davis, majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Spanish. She then went on to earn her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Laura has been working for over 19 years in a variety of general and specialty pediatric offices in San Francisco and on the Peninsula. She speaks basic medical Spanish. Laura lives in San Mateo with her husband, 2 daughters, and a dog. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, cooking, being the Troop Leader for both her daughters' Girl Scout Troops, and watching her daughters play sports.
